In 1961 Alucon was established by Mr. H W Schneider and a small group of Thai investors, to produce aluminium collapsible tubes. In 1962 at the time aluminium collapsible tube production started, Alucon was one of the few companies that received BOI (Board of Investment) privileges.

Can and Tube Plant Sriracha.

         Alucon's factories are situated in Bangkok and Sriracha, 110 km east of Bangkok. The Bangkok factory has an area of 13,000 square meters and produces collapsible tubes and tablet cans. The Sriracha factory has an area of 330,000 square meters and produces monobloc aerosol cans, felt pen bodies, rigid wall containers, ink tubes, collapsible tubes and aluminium slugs.

    1. Alucon was established with a 1.5 million baht of capital investment.
    1. Alucon started the first aluminium collapsible tube production in Thailand.
    1. Capital investment was increased to 3 million baht, to install 3 more aluminium collapsible tube production lines.
    1. Exports were started.
    1. The factory was expanded. Two aluminium monobloc aerosol can production lines were installed and aluminium aerosol can production started.
    1. Alucon's aluminium slug factory was established in Sriracha, with a capacity of 4000 tons per year. Half of the production was for export and annual sales were 200 million baht. In the same year, a new monobloc aerosol can factory was also established at Sriracha.
    1. Alucon became a public listed company with a 24 million baht capital investment and its shares traded on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
    1. Alucon entered into a joint venture with Takeuchi Press Industries Co., Ltd of Japan. Slug factory was expanded with capacity of 10,000 tons per year.
    1. ISO9002: 1994 certified.
    1. A new aluminium tube factory with clean room facilities was established in Sriracha.
    1. ISO9001: 2000 certified.
    1. The tube plant in Sriracha was GMP certified by BVQI.
    1. A new aluminium aerosol factory was established in Sriracha and Capital investment was increased to 288 million baht.

         Alucon now has 28 complete production lines as following in operation;

                   Felt pen body line 3 lines
